Fans are falling madly, madly, madly for Hello, Tristan Prettyman's follow-up to her 2005 debut, twentythree. The singer/songwriter describes the album, recorded in London, as a portrait of herself featuring stories about her life, loves, and heartbreaks. While still preserving her trademark laid-back, folksy, surfer-girl style, the San Diego-native experimented with the blues and a wide range of instruments. Highlights include the hand-clapping title track; the sweet ditty "You Got Me;" the sassy, country-tinged tune "California Girl;" the sensual, yet gritty track "A Little Bit;" the serious piano-driven song "In Bloom;" and the love-crazed first single, "Madly."
